Registrations are now open for the 11th Annual Governor’s Small Business Promotion Summit in Maryland.
The Maryland Department of General Services announced that the event will take place on November 9, 2026. Organizers noted that last year’s gathering reached full capacity, prompting this year’s program to expand opportunities for business owners to interact with state decision makers. The summit aims to connect small enterprises, minority-owned firms, and community partners with government leaders and major contractors.
This year’s theme is “Maryland Means Business: Leveraging State Partnerships for Growth.” The focus is on building strong relationships between the local business community and the state government. Officials stated that small businesses form the core of the state economy and that these partnerships can help companies extend their reach. The agenda includes sessions designed to help attendees discover state resources and strategize for future expansion.
The summit is scheduled for a single day. It will bring together entrepreneurs, state government leaders, and community partners for a focused period of networking and resource sharing. The event follows a year in which the previous summit filled all available seats, indicating continued high interest among Maryland business owners.
