The League of Women Voters will convene a candidate forum for the Pelham Village Trustee race at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, October 28. The event will be conducted entirely over Zoom, and the public may register for the webinar through a link provided in the organization's announcement.

The group stated that its forums are designed to be nonpartisan, ensuring that no single candidate receives preferential treatment. The format is intended to give voters a direct channel to hear from the individuals seeking office in a respectful and civil environment.

Moderators trained by the League and residing outside of Pelham will pose all questions and enforce the agreed-upon guidelines for the candidates. The questions have been vetted in advance to avoid duplication and to cover a wide range of topics relevant to the trustee role, though the specific list will remain hidden from candidates and their staff until the forum begins.

The League of Women Voters of Westchester also directed residents to Vote411.org for further election details. This online tool allows voters to check their registration status, locate their polling place, review ballot items, and read candidate responses to standard questions. The organization noted that this resource offers additional context beyond the forum itself.

Voters have the option to cast ballots on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, or during the early voting period, which runs from October 24 through November 1, 2026. The League emphasized the importance of participation in the upcoming election cycle.
