The Sleepy Hollow Street Fair has been moved to Sunday, November 8, due to rainouts in October. The fair will feature 145 vendors, live music, and children’s activities, and Beekman Avenue will be closed to cars from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event was rescheduled to give the community and visitors another chance to enjoy the seasonal flavor of Sleepy Hollow.
The annual event, which draws thousands to the Hudson River Valley village, includes arts and crafts stalls, food trucks, and local shops. The Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce made the decision to reschedule the fair, as rainouts in October disrupted the original plans.
The event will include live music and children’s activities, with entertainment scheduled throughout the day. Visitors are encouraged to take the train to the fair, as parking is limited. The village will be opening the East Parcel Parking Lot at 60 Continental St., but parking is scarce and visitors are encouraged to take the train to get into the street fair.
The Sleepy Hollow Street Fair is one of our favorite traditions because it truly brings out the best of our community. Whether you’ve lived here for generations or are visiting us for the very first time, there’s an extraordinary energy when our streets fill with local makers, eateries, and shops. We are thrilled to welcome everyone to celebrate the unique spirit and warmth that make Sleepy Hollow so special.
The entertainment schedule includes performances by the Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk, the Headless Horseman, Witches Along the Hudson, and Luis Enrique’s Andean Flutes Band. The Village of Sleepy Hollow Kids’ Zone will also be available for children.
The live music will be presented by the BUMP at the Beekman Parking Lot Entrance, with performances scheduled throughout the day.
