The Baltimore Ravens enter Thursday’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with no confirmed starter at quarterback and a likely change at kicker. Coach Jesse Minter stated on Monday that the team is still determining who will take the first snap, a decision complicated by injuries to all three active quarterbacks. The Jaguars, who hold a 5-2 record, will be hosted at M&T Bank Stadium.

Two-time MVP Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley both sustained injuries during the 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Rookie Joe Fagnano finished that game but was seen icing his right ankle afterward. Minter described Fagnano as "kind of fighting through a couple things" and said he expects the rookie to "have a chance" to play. To add depth, the team signed undrafted quarterback Austin Reed to the practice squad. Reed spent time with the Bears last season and completed six of 12 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown during preseason action.

The offensive line received a boost with guard Vega Ioane indicating he is close to returning from a knee injury. Ioane, who served as the starting center from Weeks 4 to 6, allowed only four pressures on 117 pass blocks during that span, a 3.4% rate that ranked third lowest among centers with at least 50 blocks. He missed the game against the Bills but expects to play against Jacksonville. "I am confident in my ability to be able to come out," Ioane said, noting he did not want to be a liability when he returned to the field previously.

Kicker Tyler Loop faces a potential placement on injured reserve due to a right groin injury. An absence would sideline him for at least four games, meaning his earliest return would be after the Week 14 bye against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Loop has made 13 of 17 field goal attempts this season, a 76.5% success rate. He is 5-for-5 on kicks of at least 50 yards but 4-for-8 on attempts between 30 and 49 yards. Practice squad kicker Jake Moody, who was 19-for-23 last season, will handle kicking duties Thursday.

The Ravens listed 18 players on their injury report as they prepare for a quick turnaround. New additions include nose tackle John Jenkins with a knee issue and right tackle Roger Rosengarten with an ankle issue. Outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson, guard John Simpson, and linebacker Roquan Smith all carry new ailments while remaining limited participants. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins did not practice, while left tackle Ronnie Stanley continues to be limited. Tight end Mark Andrews, tight end Matthew Hibner, and running back Adam Randall were full participants in Monday’s session.

Minter declined to provide a specific timeline for Jackson’s return, noting that the quarterback has not yet undergone thumb surgery. The team expects more clarity on Jackson’s status sometime this week. Huntley is "probably" not an option for the current week, with the staff planning to assess his long-term outlook later.
